Roma stuck in the middle of Serie A striker merry go round
There has been heaps to talk around Serie A clubs selling strikers within the league between the teams. This has been going on since last summer with talks for a move for Dusan Vlahovic or Artem Dovbyk. Dovbyk is back in rumours with talks of him leaving Roma for another Serie A team circulate once again.
This comes as Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Napoli could make an offer for the Ukrainian. However, this would rely on Lorenzo Lucca leaving Napoli as he is currently looking elsewhere to find some more game-time for the rest of this season. Nottingham Forrest and Benfica have shown interest in Lucca but nothing concrete has come of talks yet.
But, Dovbyk isn’t the only Roma striker Napoli are interested in, as they also like loanne Evan Ferguson. Ferguson would be harder get then Dovbyk as Roma or Brighton would have to terminate his loan. Roma might not be willing to give up either striker up without a singing of a striker.

Roma are also chasing signings, with them coming very close to a deal for a former Napoli striker. Giacomo Raspadori is really close to a return to Serie A as him and Roma aim to close all personal details up soon. This is if reports by Fabrizio Romano are correct.
Roma have already agreed a deal with Atletico for a loan to buy bundle. The total package of the deal will be around 20-25 million euros for Raspadori. However, Roma might not stop there as they have interest in another striker. This would be Giovane Nascimento from Hellas Verona.
Alfredo Pedulla reports that Roma have been following Nascimento since November and are really interested. Verona are asking for 20 million euros, however it is not that simple as Tommaso Baldanzi could also be involved in the deal. But Verona aren’t the only team after Baldanzi as Fiorentina have also shown interest as they look to turn their season around.
Roma will also likely have competition from other Serie A sides to sign Nascimento as Atalanta are also looking to close a move. Atalanta have begun talks with both Verona and Nascimento and they seem to be going well. This has led to NicoSchira reporting that they have agreed personal terms with Nascimento if he is to join Atalanta.
