Rafael Leao set to reject all bids to join Turkey for now
Rafael Leao is all but set to leave AC Milan this summer, after falling out with the club. Leao has enjoyed his time in Milan winning a Scudetto but feels that he needs to move on now for the good of his career. He wants to make a move to a top league to continue to excel either the Premier League or La Liga.
However, none of these teams are coming after Leao this summer. This leaves Leao without a destination for his future as him leaving Milan is all but guaranteed. AC Milan spent 74 million euros to sign Goncalo Ramos as a replacement for Leao in Ruben Amorim’s system.

Goncalo Ramos of AC Milan looks on during an AC Milan Training at Sam Kerr Football Centre on July 30, 2026 in Perth, Australia.
There has been one solution for Leao during all of this a move to Turkey. Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have both shown interest in signing Leao, making opening contacts with both Leao and AC Milan. But, these are unlikely moves as Leao is turning down any move to Turkey.
This according a report to Luca Cerchione on X who states that Leao has no interest in the move now. Leao is waiting for a tem in eithe the Premier League or La Liga rather than moving to Turkey. However, Leao will now likely be forced to leave Milan at some point.
There is also no guarantee that a bigger club will offer Leao a deal. Therefore, Leao could re-open to the possibility of moving to Turkey later in the transfer window. But, even if that happens that won’t guarantee a deal as neither Fenerbahce or Galatasaray have made a bid close to Milan’s transfer value of 60 million euros.
