Galatasaray preparing monster bid to try and sign Kevin De Bryune
Galatasaray have been in the Serie A market for most of this summer as they looked to build up the squad. Hakan Çalhanoglu was linked with a move back to Turkey during last season. However, he decided that he wants to spend one more season with Inter before deciding his future.
Rafael Leao was another monster name that Galatasaray tried to sign. They would face competition in Turkey as Fenerbahce also want to sign Leao. But, Leao has shown no interest in a move to Turkey and is expected to reject all bids from the country. Galatasaray could instead decide to set their sights on Kevin De Bruyne, according to Ekrem Konur.

This comes as Napoli have recently appointed Massimiliano Allegri, meaning changes will undergo in Napoli’s squad. De Bruyne spot in Napoli’s team is no longer certain, especially after a poor 2025/26 campaign. Galatasaray could try to pry De Bruyne with attractive terms. With the hopes to leverage the on-going situation in Naples to try and complete a deal.
The uncertainty around game time could lead to De Bruyne seriously considering the deal. Galatasary will also submit an offical bid to Napoli to try and complete the deal. It is currently unknown if Napoli will be willing to sell De Bruyne this summer. But, if Galatasaray convince De Bruyne on a move, Napoli’s hand could be forced.
Galatasaray odds are also helped by the fact that De Bruyne contract expires after this season. Napoli had the chance to renew it before the end of last season but waited. Part of this was due to De Bruyne rough start in Serie A and also the uncertainty around the clubs future.
