AC Milan could hold on to two players in January
AC Milan currently sit second in the Serie A table, a mere point behind leading city rivals Inter. This has Milan believing that they can be champions this season. This has lead Milan to look for ways to improve their squad in January. This has already begun with the signing of Niclas Fullkrug being made offical last week, Aa the window opened. However, there has been very little talk over how Milan will fund these moves. Espically with new finical fair play rules, hindering sides signing.

There has been two names that have been linked to leaving Milan. Both Davide Bartesaghi and Christoper Nkunku linked to leaving Milan in January. However, reports state that both might stay in Milan for the near future. Davide Bartesaghi has received heavy interested this season from all over Europe, mainly, England. This has been to his breakout so far this season in Milan as he has begun to play more minutes this season.
However, Milan are hopefully to keep the young Italian which lead to reports from Matteo Moretto via Sempre Milan. These reports that state Milan will offer a new contract extension to Bartesaghi despite him signing one in May of last year. Milan will do this to up his wages to convince him to stay in Milan. Currently Bartesaghi he earns €600K per season and Milan will look to up that to €1.5M.
Secondly, Christoper Nkunku could be sold by Milan in January, however isn’t suitable sides to take Nkunku. Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that, Turkish side Fenerbahçe is interested in Nkunku. However, as of right now Nkunku currently isn’t interested in the move as he would rather stay in Milan then make a move to Turkey.
