Paulo Dybala opens talks with foreign team as leaving Roma looms
AS Roma were hoping to challenge for the title this season, under the new leadership of Gian Piero Gasperini as manager. However, Roma are now all but out of the title race, and are now competing for a Champions League finish. They have fallen short of where they wanted to be mainly due to a poor goalscoring in the attack.
Artem Dovbyk and Evan Ferguson were the main attacking threat for Roma, but both failed to hit the ground running. This saw Ferguson’s full season loan be cut off by January as Roma looked to restrict. Donyell Malen, Bryan Zaragoza and Robinho Vaz all signed for Roma in January. Roma begun an attacking revolution that will truly kickoff this summer in January.

This will likely see a list of exits leaving the club, in the summer. Artem Dovybk will likely be sold, as Roma tried to get rid of him. AC Milan were interested but a deal never eventuated, but Milan could be interested again. Another name who could leave is Paulo Dybala, after completing what will be his fourth season in the capital.
Dybala could leave Roma, in the same way he joined them as a free agent. His current deal expires at the end of this season, and Roma have no interest in a renewal. Como, Benfica and Monaco have all been interested in signing Dybala, but none have opened talks yet. Now, according to Nico Schira however Dybala has finally opened talks with a team.
Boca Juniors have opened talks with Dybala over the possibility of a deal. This is a move that would see a 32-year-old Dybala, return home to Argentina. This would likely be the last team that Dybala would play for before retiring similar to Diego Maradona from Sevilla.
