Napoli could sell two attackers if they can bring in their targets

Napoli are fighting to be back to back Scudetto winners this season, however there season would suffer a blow before it could get underway. Romelu Lukaku would go down to injury at the start of pre-season, and he still hasn’t returned. This should have hindered Napoli season and instead it did the opposite.

Napoli where able to sign both Rasmus Hojlund and Lorenzo Lucca to replace him while he is injured. Lucca hasn’t been able to get off the ground at Naples so far. This is why he is close to leaving Naples, however Hojlund is looking close to staying in Naples for the long run.

This is leading to Napoli looking to keep Hojlund for the long run. This could lead to Napoli deciding to sell Romelu Lukaku according to CalcioMercatoIT. A offer has come in from USA for a move to Lukaku for the MLS, and he could be up for sale. It is unseen what Conte will do as he is a big fan of Lukaku but it is still possible.

At the same time Napoli could sell another attacker this January as Noa Lang could be on his way out. Turkish side Fenerbahce hold interest in Lang, and have for a while. (read more here) The key thing to Lukaku leaving will be if Napoli can complete signings to replace him.

This will all depend on the transfer window on AS Roma, who hold two of Napoli most wanted targets. Napoli have been interested in signing both Artem Dovybk and Evan Ferguson. But they may only be made available by Roma if they manage to sign someone. Thankfully for Napoli, Roma are very close to their first summer signing. (read more here)
