Juventus finally managed to finalise the contract extension for Manuel Locatelli until 2030. This comes as Juventus are looking to keep some of Luciano Spalletti’s key players before looking for new names this summer. Kenan Yildiz was another example of this as Juventus locked him down earlier in the season.

Juventus will now get to keep more of Juventus’s key players, and according to Nico Schira there are more names ready. Pierre Kalulu will be the next name that Juventus will give a contract extension to before the end of this season. Kalulu was signed at the start of last season from AC Milan.

When Kalulu joined Juventus he was given a new contract until 2029, however the Bianconeri still want to offer him new terms. Currently, he earns 3 million per season for Juventus, this is only 16th highest in the squad. This has him behind Fillip Kostic, Teun Koopmeiners, Llyod Kelly and other player he is far more important than.

Juventus want to give Kalulu a pay-rise to show the value that he currently holds in Juventus’s squad. It is also to stop other teams from trying to sign Kalulu this summer. Manchester United and Liverpool have both considered making moves for Kalulu, however a pay rise could incetvise him to stay.
