AC Milan make decision on Niclas Fullkrug ahead of this summer.
AC Milan goal scoring has been the sides main issue over the last multiple seasons. The issues started when former striker Olivier Giroud let the side in 2024. The rossoneri didn’t make a proper effort to replace him at the time, which led to the club suffering once he left.
AC Milan decided went through half a season before realising they had a problem. They then decided to sign Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord as a potential long-term option. However, Santi has struggled his entire time in Milan and has even struggled to be healthy at times.

Gimenez was sidelined for over four months with an ankle bruise, which was later revealed to require surgery. This went through the January transfer window, which led Milan to sign a new name as they looked to challenge Inter for the Scudetto. Niclas Fullkrug as he was an easy option as West Ham looked to get rid of him.
Fullkrug joined AC Milan on a six month loan that also came with a 5 million euro buy option for this summer. However, Fullkrug has suffered like Gimenez and has only managed 536 minutes over 16 games. Fullkrug has only found the net one time for Milan since joining the side.
This has lead to the Rossoneri making an early decision on Fullkrug future, according to Fabrizio Romano. AC Milan will not trigger his 5 million euro buy option this summer, instead letting him return to West Ham. This is a clear sign that AC Milan will undergo large changes this summer, especially in attack.

Juventus could make a move to sign Stanislav Lobotka this summer
Stanislav Lobotka has been a key name for Napoli, when he has played over the course of this season. He has suffered with injury problems over the course of this season missing ten games over the current campaign. However, when he has been available he has started 23 out of the 26 league games he played, amassing over 2000 minutes.
Juventus on the other hand have undergo changes during this season. Igor Tudor started this season in Juventus’s dugout but he was replaced at the start of November by Luciano Spalletti. Spalletti has since turned Juventus around and has been offered a new contract until 2028.

Juventus are now planning how to build a team for Spalletti in the summer. This comes in the hopes to bring Scudetto glory back to Turin after a six year drought. According to Tuttosport, Stanislav Lobotka could be signed to help push Juventus over the line, as he would be one of the squad’s pillars.
Currently, Lobotka’s contract expires at the end of next season, however he does have the option to activate a one year extension. However, there has been some falling out over the clubs which could lead to him leaving Naples after this season. Lobotka currently has a 25 million euro release clause for this summer.
But, Napoli could accept a lower amount this summer to sell Lobotka closer to 20 million euros. Especially since Napoli have an uncertain future for next season. Antonio Conte has openly flirted with the head coaching job for the Italian national team, which would see him leave Napoli. This could lead Napoli to being open to sell Lobotka this summer.

Juventus out of the race for a key free agent due to high costs
Luciano Spalletti finally put pen to paper on a contract extension with Juventus until 2028 this week. The Bianconeri will now look to build a new side for Spalletti, as Juventus look to get back on top in Serie A. Juventus will likely be forced to make multiple signings if they truly want to compete next season.
However, all these signings come at a high cost which is why it is key Juventus qualify for the Champions League. Yesterday’s win against Atalanta was a step in the right direction, moving Juventus up to fourth. But, there is still six more games left to play so nothing is guaranteed for the Bianconeri.
This is why Juventus are still looking for ways to minimise the potential costs of their signings. The most popular way so far would be the signing of free agents. Juventus have been linked to multiple this season, with Bernardo Silva and Leon Goretzka being the most popular names.

However, now according to Matteo Moretto on youtube, Juventus are out of the race to sign a key free agent. Marcos Senesi will now likely stay in the Premier League instead of making a move to join Juventus according to Moretto. The money the Premier League sides are offering Senesi is simply too much for Juventus to match this summer.
This will be a large blow for Juventus as he was the only free agent centre-back the Bianconeri were linked too. Juventus will now have to look elsewhere if they are hardest on signing a centre back in this summer’s mercato. However, Juventus could instead decide to fill more noticeable needs, to save financial resources instead.

AS Roma tracking Andrea Pinamonti as Gasperini looks for a new attack this summer
Before the start of this season, AS Roma made a big move by appointing Gian Piero Gasperini as head coach. Gasperini was a big scalp fro Roma, after his tenure which saw Atalanta push towards European football consistently. This came as Juventus and Milan where both also chasing Gasp.
It was a statement of intent signing for Roma, however their mercato failed to back it up. Wesley Franca was a good signing as a wing back, however Roma needed a player for the left channel rather than the right, which has forced him to play out of position. But Roma biggest miss was not signing a proper striker during the summer.
Artem Dovbyk was already in the capital before Gasperini joined however, Gasp wasn’t a fan of his playstyle. Gasperini pushed for a striker all summer, but all Roma only managed to sign Evan Ferguson on loan. But, he was sent back only six months into his loan. However, the signing of Donyell Malen in January rectified the mistakes they made in January.

Malen will stay with Roma past this season to help Roma’s project in attack. However, it won’t be enough for Roma in the attack, as Gasperini is pushing for another name. Now, according to Tuttosport via RomaPress the name that is being scouted is Andrea Pinamonti.
Gasperini has been a fan of Pinamonti over the last few seasons, even requesting Atalanta to sign him before he left. This has lead to Roma beginning to scout Pinamonti over this season, to see if he can fit in for the Giallorossi for next season. Pinamonti has scored eight goals over 29 league games during this season.
