Roma are continuing on their search for a winger this summer, as they look to build a stronger attack for Gian Piero Gasperini. Alejandro Garnacho was the first name Roma were strongly linked too. However, that deal seems to have fallen through due to finical reasons.

Chelsea’s asking price of 35-45 million euros on a permanent deal was too much. Roma could have considered a move if Chelsea were open to a loan to buy deal. Roma are continuing negations with Strasbourg however, as they are ready to make a new bid to sign Diego Moreira.

This comes from a report from Nico Schira via youtube which states that Roma will make a bid worth 30 million euros. Roma will add bonuses into this deal for Strasbourg, but it still won’t be enough. Strasbourg have set a 40 million euro asking price if Moreira is to be sold this summer.

However, that isn’t the only attacker that Schira has provided an update on. He is also reporting that Roma have managed to reach a personal agreement with Crysencio Summerville. This is on a five year contract, which will see him stay at Roma until 2031.

Summerville will earn 5 million euros per season on this deal. Roma now just need to agree a transfer fee with West Ham to complete a deal. Schira is reporting that Roma will make a bid of 40 million euros plus bonuses. However, West Ham still demand 50 million. Roma will need to meet it quickly with interest in Summerville coming from other clubs, mainly Manchester United and Saudi Arabian sides.

Juventus agree personal terms with Mateo Pellegrino as talks go on between Parma and Juventus

Published

Juventus main priority this summer has to been to bring in new strikers. This comes as Juventus are looking for ways to get rid of both Lois Openda and Jonathan David. Both strikers where underwhelming for Juventus in their opening season, and are now no longer wanted by Luciano Spalletti.

Juventus have been successful in the market already on the hunt for striker. The Bianconeri completed a deal to sign Jeff Ekhator from Genoa for 15 million euros. However, he is not seen as a starter for Juventus yet, instead being a back-up. Ekhator could even be loaned out if Luciano Spalletti feels he is not ready to play for Juventus.

New signing Jeff Ekhator and Giovanni Carnevali pose at Juventus Headquarters on July 01, 2026 in Turin, Italy.

Randal Kolo Muani has been Juventus’s top target for the majority of the summer, but the deal is looking less and less likely. This comes as PSG are demanding 40-50 million euros to sell Kolo Muani. However, Juventus only want to spend 30-35 million on Kolo Muani, on a loan to buy deal.

This has forced Juventus to start looking at alternatives options, one of which being Mateo Pellegrino. Pellegrino had a standout season for Parma scoring nine league goals, mainly in the back half of the season. This caused Juventus interest in him, especially since they where already in talks with Parma.

Juventus and Parma had been in talks since the sale of Giovanni Daffara to Parma from Juventus. Juventus had then made inquiries about Zion Suzuki and Pellegrino. Orazio Accomando is now reporting that the two clubs remain in contacts and will close the deal soon, for around 30-35 million euros.

However, Nico Schira is reporting that the deal will be a loan with a buy option which can become an obligation. The deal being a loan will make it finically easier for Juventus to pull off. Juventus are also close to the signing as they have an agreement in principle in place with Pellegrino on a deal until 2031.

Pervis Estupinan close to leaving AC Milan after only one season

Published

on

AC Milan signed Pervis Estupinan last summer as one of their many deals during that mercato. This came as they looked to build a new team for Massimilaino Allergi as he had just taken over the coaching role. Allegri needed strong full-backs on both sides to implement his system.

This lead to Milan signing Estupinan for 17 million euros from Brighton last summer. However, he turned out to be a big disappointment for AC Milan as he was quickly replaced by young Davide Bartesaghi. This led to Estupinan being benched for most games last campaign.

Milan changed manager after last season, firing Massimiliano Allegri for Ruben Amorim. Amorim’s system is less dependenton full-backs, which means some can be sold. Bartesaghi taking over the starting spot from Estupinan last campaign means that it will likely be the Ecuadorian that leaves.

This comes as a deal to see Estupinan joining Aston Villa is being finalised. A report from Daniele Longo via X states that Estupinan has agreed upon a multi year deal with Villa on a contract worth 3 million per season. However, Longo did not state the length of that contract.

This only leaves the two clubs needing an agreement to make a deal for Estupinan possible. An agreement is close between the two clubs with only 2-3 million euros separating the clubs valuations. This should see a deal be completed in the coming days in the range of 15-20 million euros.

Juventus hijack AS Roma to sign Zeki Celik as a free agent

Published

on

Juventus have managed to make their second signing of the summer, as they bring Zeki Celik in from AS Roma. This came as Celik contract with Roma expired at the end of last season. Celik was therefore a free agent, but there was optimism within the capital that he would sign a contract extension with Roma.

A contract extension was exteremly close between Roma and Celik. Fabrizio Romano has gone as far to say that Roma had signed their portion of the documents, but just waited on Celik to sign his. However, Juventus managed to jump in and hijack the deal by offering Celik a higher salary.

Nico Schira is reporting that Celik was ready to stay with Roma until 2029 on a new extension. This would see Celik earn 2.8 million per season with an added bonuses of around half a million. Roma and Celik had already verbally agreed on a contract extension under these terms. But, Juventus came in with a higher offer before the deal was completed.

Juventus offered Celik total package worth 4M per season, which will be broken down with 3.2M per season. This will see Celik receive 800K per season in bonuses under his deal until 2029. Juventus and Celik will also benefit from the Decreto Crescita or Growth decree in English which will provide a 50% cut on Celik’s income taxes.

Celik will come into Juventus as another right fullback option for Luciano Spalletti. Spalletti was forced to rely heavily on Pierre Kalulu during the second half on the campaign. Celik coming in will allow Kalulu to be rotated and rested more as Kalulu only missed one Serie A game. The move will also allow Kalulu move to centre back at times during the season.
