Rafael Leao future hangs in the balance as multiple clubs could push to sign him
AC Milan have begun planning for life under Ruben Amorim for next season, as Milan hope to be contenders in Serie A again. Part of this planning has seen them turn down a large bid from New York FC for Christian Pulisic. Pulisic is the focal point of Milan under Amorim and wont be sold this summer.
Pulisic was promoted to the role as Rafael Leao looks all but certain to leave Milan. Leao fell out with Milan at the end of last season, and now wants to make a move to Spain or England. However, this is looking very difficult as none of these teams are making approaches for Leao.

Most of the interest in Leao has come from Turkey as Fenerbache have offered him a five-year deal. This will see Leao earn 12 million per year, while Fenerbache will also offer Milan 40 million euros, according to Orazio Accomando. But, they aren’t the only team in Turkey interested as Galatasaray have also made an offer according to Nico Schira.
Galatasaray have offered AC Milan, 30 million euros to try and sign Leao. Milan are asking for 50-60 million to sell Leao this summer, but this figure won’t be enough. Leao has also been offered a four-year deal worth 10 million per season to join Galatasaray for next season.
Regardless of whatever offer Milan or Leao get this summer, a deal to Turkey is still unlikely. This is because he has stated before that he doesn’t want to play in Turkey for next season. Leao and his agents will have to look for alternative solutions to get Leao out of Milan.
A move to Roma could be a possibility, with the Giallorossi interested. This is according to a report from Patrick Berger who states that Roma is monitoring Leao after being turned down for Said El Mana by the player. However, there is still a chance Leao joins Atletico Madrid.
This would fulfil Leao’s want to play in La Liga for next season if it was to happen. Atleti have shown interest according to a report from Louis Girardi but a deal remains difficult finically. Milan’s asking price of 65 million euros and Leao’s demands of nine million according to Girardi make a deal all but impossible as of now.
