Juventus hope to complete deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani in the coming days

Juventus transfer window so far has been underwhelming as they have failed to solve any of their major needs. Jeff Ekhator and Zeki Celik were two good pieces of business however, they fail to fulfil any of the Bianconeri’s main needs. Juventus still need to sign a new striker as Luciano Spalletti is left with only Jonathan David as a striker in his squad.

Spalletti has already made it known that he isn’t fond of David, especially due to his poor form last season. But, he will be given another chance in next season because he was a free transfer. This means he doesn’t have a big effect on the FFP state of Juventus which means he doesn’t have to be sold unlike Lois Openda.

But, Juventus are hoping to close in to sign their next striker, according to Nico Schira. Schira is reporting that Juventus will meet with PSG over the next 36 hours to try and finalise a deal to sign Kolo Muani. Juventus and PSG have been in talks repeatedly over a deal but a transfer fee continues to stop a deal.

Schira is reporting that Juventus have offered PSG a loan with a buy option valued at 40 million euros. The buy option will include a three million euro bonus in the deal. However, the buy option will become a mandatory clause if Juventus qualify for the Champions League.

Kolo Muani is pushing for a move to join Juventus this summer, as he has turned down bids from Bundesliga and Saudi Arabian clubs. He has already agreed terms with Juventus on a deal until 2031 worth 5 million euros per season. This is why Juventus has been so persistent in their pursuit to sign him but a deal is still not guaranteed. PSG could still pose finical demands that are too high for the Bianconeri.

Juventus could still be forced to sign an alternative to Kolo Muani if the deal falls through in the next 36 hours. Mateo Pellegrino has been the main names as he has already agreed personal terms for a move to Juventus. Juventus have also had talks with Parma in the past, but no terms have been agreed upon for a deal
