Inter have been known to been making finically smart business deals in recent history. This led to the club being able to come 0ut of their Covid debt. One of these being the move to sign Andre Onana for free from Ajax and then sell him 0n a year later for 51 million euros plus add-ons to Manchester United.

This led to another of smart signing bringing in Yann Sommer for only 7 million euros. His deal was cheap as he was 34 at the time and wasn’t needed for Bayern. Now however, Inter believe age will catch up soon and are getting ready to search for his replacement long term.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport they believe that they have found that from the Premier League. Italian goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario is there next option as Inter number one. Vicario has had great form this season for Tottenham keeping 5 clean sheets in fifteen games.

Vicario is also coming off winning the Europa league with Spurs but could want a move back to Serie A. A move back to Italy would lead to more opportunities in the Italian National team especially as the 2026 World Cup approaches if the Azzurri can qualify, after missing the last two tournaments.

Inter will look to try and keep the deal to a low price once again as they look to protect their investment. They are aiming to 20 million euros to protect their investment like they did with Sommer. Vicario already has Serie A expeericne having spent two years at Empoli before joining Tottenham.
