Juventus could force Jonathan David out soon to make room for Joshua Zirkzee

Jonathan David joined Juventus last summer, as a free agent but he could already be on his way out. Luciano Spalletti no longer considered David in his plans for next season after his poor inaugural campaign for the Bianconeri. Juventus are now working to facilitate a deal for David to leave Turin to get rid of his six million euro per season in salary.

Paris Saint-Germain could make a move for David, as they have recently lost Gonzalo Ramos. This leaves PSG without a true number nine, while Luis Enrique  prefers a more fluid attack, a proper striker is still needed. PSG sporting director, Luis Campos is also a known fan of David having signed him in the past for Lille.

If, PSG do decide to go for David they could face competition as Aston Villa are also considering a move. Unai Emery the Aston Villa manager has approved the move for David if PSG do decide to go for him according to Gazzetta Dello Sport. However, David’s salary of six million euros per season is high for both Villa and less so PSG.

Juventus are also getting rid of David to make room for Joshua Zirkzee in the squad for next season. This comes as Juventus remain in contact with Manchester United to sign Zirkzee, on loan. United originally wanted a deal that is a loan to buy, however they have now softened to just a dry loan.

The main reason for this is that Marcus Rashford will return to United after his loan deal with Barcelona. This all but guarantees that Zirkzee won’t have a spot at Manchester United for next season, so his exit now looks imminent. United are now open to a deal on a dry loan, while they were certain on wanting a loan to buy in the past.
