Davide Frattesi has been a consistent player for Inter over the last two season. Frattesi has been rotating in and out of this Inter squad, as they look to fight for Italian and European titles. However, Frattesi has slowly become sick of this life, prefering to be a regular starter.

Frattesi wanted a move in Italy as he didn’t want to leave Serie A, but with limited options he will likely have to move elsewhere. Reports from Nico Schira state that he has already agreed on a move to England. This would be with Nottingham Forest who have tried to sign Frattesi this entire month.

However, the move isn’t that simple as Inter haven’t given their approval for Frattesi to leave the Nerazzurri. But, this has changed according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio on his website. Inter could let Frattesi leave on a loan with an option to buy deal worth 40 million euros if redeemed.

This comes as Inter are looking to close a deal to bring in a midfielder, to allow Frattesi to leave. The leading name according to Di Marzio is that Inter could sign Curtis Jones from Liverpool on a loan to buy. However, this deal has now fallen through meaning Inter will have to look elsewhere for a Frattesi replacement.

This comes from a report from Fabrizio Romano, which states that Liverpool are no longer open to selling Jones. This comes as Liverpool don’t want to let Jones leave until he signs a contract extension with his deal expiring after next season. Currently, Inter aren’t linked to anyone else who could replace Frattesi.

Inter have now set their sights on Marco Palestra who is owned by Atalanta. Palestra had a breakout season last campaign as he was loaned out to Cagliari. He played well enough to earn a place in the Azzurri for the World Cup Qualifying playoffs, as he featured in both games.

His improved form has gone unnoticed as it is leading Inter to spend 50 million euros to sign him this summer. This comes from a report from Nico Schira via X. However, the deal is not complete with Atalanta yet as the clubs still have disagreements over sell on clauses and bonuses.

But, this is the only issue standing in the way of the deal as Inter have already agreed terms with Palestra. This will see him join Inter on a contract until 2031 once the deal is complete. He will earn 3 million euros per season as part of the deal to join the Nerazzurri.

Goncalo Ramos is a new target for AC Milan as Santiago Gimenez could leave this summer

Published

Last week, AC Milan took their first step to change for the future by announcing Ruben Amorim as their new coach. Milan are still without board leadership, but the club began to plan their summer. This came as they wanted to build a new revolutionised team for Amorim for next season.

If Milan wanted to build a new team for next season, some players will have to be sold to make it possible. Santiago Gimenez is one of the first names on the list as Milan look for a new striker. Gimenez season was ruined by injury this campaign which saw him fall into poor form.

However, even without this Gimenez has only scored seven goals in 37 games for AC Milan. This has put him firmly on the chopping block as Milan look for new names this summer. Transfer market specialist Daniele Longo has now linked him to a move to the MLS.

Orlando City will try to sign Santiago Gimenez this summer, and are willing to spend up to 30 million euros to do so. They are also set to offer Gimenez a salary of 5 million per season. This would be more than he earns in Milan and enough to convince him on a move.

AC Milan could then re-invest this funds to bring in a new striker. Corriere Dello Sport is also reporting that Goncalo Ramos is the leading name to sign for Milan. This comes as PSG are willing to sell the Portuguese striker this summer and will want 40 million to do so.

However, the real problem for signing Goncalo Ramos is his salary. Ramos want to earn something close to his current 5 million euros per season. This is high for Milan, but it could be possible if Rafael Leao leaves this summer. But, even in the case of Leao’s departure Milan would be hesitant to pay him such a high salary.
