Dusan Vlahovic leaving Juventus could make room for Premier League striker
Juventus are slowly working themselves back into the title race this season. This has the club has turned the corner from their poor form at the start. This has mainly been due to the coaching change with Luciano Spalletti replacing Igor Tudor at the start of November.
One of the problems that Tudor team’s had was goalscoring, especially with two of Juventus strikers in poor forms. Lois Openda and Jonathan David, where the two new strikers that struggled for life in Turin. However, there form has changed ever since Spalletti has come in.
The two of them have scored six goals in the two months, Spalletti has been in the job. While this number sounds low, the two also had very little confidence and very little idea how to work in Spalletti’s system. Yet reports are still stating that Juventus are looking for a striker in January or the summer.

This is because of the looming departure of Dusan Vlahovic, his contract is expiring at the end of this season. His contract expires at the end of the season with Juventus and his next destination is likely AC Milan. This is according to reports from Alfredo Pedulla, which states that Milan have held their interest since September, and Barcelona have dropped out of the race.
This has lead to Juventus looking for options to replace Vlahovic, if he is to leave Juventus. Currently they only have one main name on their list, french striker Jean-Philippe Mateta. Mateta has been in phenomenal form for the last twelve months leading Crystal Palace to a FA Cup win.
Juventus are getting confident in a signing for Mateta, the french striker is open to a move. This come from reports from Nico Schira, which states that told Juventus he is ready to sign for them. Mateta has also said that he is interested in a four year deal at Juventus.
It doesn’t stop there for Juventus have they have made an offer to Crystal Palace, this is according to Gianluca Di Marzio which have Juventus offering a package of around 40 million euros to sign Mateta. This will be close to Palace’s valuation of Mateta but the high price could make Juventus push the deal until the summer.

Rafael Leao future remains uncertain as he seems certain to leave AC Milan this summer
Rafael Leao future remains up in the air coming into next season. It is all but certain that he will leave the Rossoneri this summer, as he wants a new challenge from the club. There was rumours that new manager Ruben Amorim would try to convince Leao to stay, however these are false.
Amorim has already decided on his new front three for the future, after signing Goncalo Ramos. This will consist of, Christopher Nkunku, Christian Pulisic and new signing Ramos. Therefore, Leao is now left out of Milan’s plan as they look to build a new team for next season.

Goncalo Ramos of Portugal celebrates after scoring his team’s second goal during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32 match between Portugal and…
Barcelona have already made initial inquiries to Milan according to Ekrem Konur on X. Anthony Gordon has already been signed by Barcelona this summer, who plays in the same position as Leao. Barcelona also invested 80 million euros in the signing of Gordon so it is unlikely, they will do the same with Leao.
However, the Rossoneri could be open to a loan to buy deal to get Leao’s wages off their books. This would make a move possible for Barcelona, especially since Leao now has a lower price. Leao’s, 150 million release clause is no longer his asking price, instead dropping down to 60-70 million euros.
This is a figure that Barcelona could easily justify paying, especially for a player of Leao’s quality. But, to sign him they will have competition as Leao has already began speaking to other clubs. TEAMtalk are reporting that Leao has said give English side a verbal yes to join them this summer.
Tottenham are the only club, currently to make Leao their priority target. This is despite interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and FC Barcelona this summer. The london based club are serious about signing Leao this summer. This comes they look to build a stronger side for new manager Roberto Di Zerbi.
