AS Roma evaluating multiple attackers to decide their future
AS Roma are looking to win their Scudetto since 2001 this season, but this year title race is one of the closest ever. This is why every team is looking for ways to boost their campaign, to push them over the edge. For Roma the boost they need is clear they need more goalscoring.
Roma tried to solve this problem in the summer, they signed Evan Ferguson and Leon Bailey on loan. Those deals aren’t working for Roma so far and both will be sent back from their loan to the Premier League according to reports. This is leading to new rumours looking for a new attacker.

Roma are looking at many names mainly, Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee. However, there is still some uncertainty on if he will be allowed to leave Manchester United, due to AFCON. United will lose attacker Bryan Mbeumo because of the tournament so may need to keep Zirkzee around.
So, this is leaving Roma looking for backup option in case they can’t sign Zirkzee. They are evaluating signing Giacomo Raspadori if they can’t get Zirkzee, this come from a report from CalcioMercato.com who say that they can get Raspadori in January, due to a poor start at Atletico Madrid.
Diego Simone is open to selling Raspadori in January and Roma could be a perfect option. He would fit into Gasperini system perfectly this season and could adapt to Serie A straight away. He also already has knowledge in the league having spent some time at Napoli in the past.

Juventus closing in on signing Oscar Mingueza from Celta Vigo
Juventus started off their transfer window by making a swap move with FC Porto. This was a deal which saw Alberto Costa move to Porto. Costa was wanted by multipule clubs after some excellent performances at the Club World Cup with Juventus. Porto where one of the teams interested and got the deal done.
However, Porto could only complete the deal if it was a swap, so Juventus and Porto opened negotiations. The two clubs did manage to come to an agreement with Juventus over a swap deal. The two teams managed to come to a deal that would see Juventus receive full-back Joao Mario.
Mario came to Turin, full of hope to be a key player for Tudor in his squad instead that didn’t happen. He struggled to get regular minutes for Juventus, and couldn’t find a place in Tudors squad. Especially with the poor form Juventus where in Joao Mario had plenty of opportunities to make way into the squad.

Then Juventus decided to change coaches firing Tudor and replacing him with Luciano Spalletti, formerly of Napoli. Spalletti has turned Juventus around and improving their form. However, Joao hasn’t been apart of that playing only 33 minutes since Spalletti joined Juventus at the start of November.
This has lead to rumours of Joao leaving Juventus in January at the end of this season, or in January. This will mean Juventus will need to sign a right back to replace him, and they already have their eye on someone according to Nico Schira.
Oscar Mingueza is the lead target from Celta Vigo, as he is looking to leave the club. His contract expires at the end of this season and he likely won’t extend with Celta Vigo, this has lead to the rumours of him leaving in January. Juventus are one of the several teams interested in him.
However, so far Juventus have the edge on the competition as they have agreed terms with Mingueza already. This has lead to Juventus looking to complete the deal in January. Now they just need to agree a fee with Celta Vigo to complete the deal which will be around 3-4 million euros.
