Juventus were knocked out of the Champions League last week, after losing to Galatasaray. This saw the Biaconeri be knocked out of the tournament in the round of 32. This was despite recovering a 5-2 lead to tie it 5-5 before extra time. But Galatasaray were too strong for a 10 men Juventus despite playing in Turin,

Juventus will now shift their goals to qualify for the Champions League for next season. Currently the Bianconeri are missing out as they sit sixth in the league. They are now four points behind, Roma who are in fourth, who Juventus are set to face today, in a must win game. But, Juventus board are still preparing for a summer transfer window were they miss out.

Juventus missing out on the Champions League would be a huge loss for potential prize money. This would mean Juventus would need to spend smarter in the transfer market. This will mean that Juventus will have to rely on either loan to buy or free agent signings. Marcos Senesi has already been in talks with Juventus to come in as a free agent.

According to TuttoSport, Juventus have opened talks with two other free agents. Firstly, there is Oscar Mingueza who is currently at Celta Vigo, who Juventus tried to sign in the summer. However, Celta Vigo decided to keep Mingueza until the end of the season instead of selling Mingueza on a cheap deal to get any money.

But, he isn’t the only fullback that Juventus have opened talks with. They are also in talks with Roma’s, Zeki Celik who will also leave this summer. Inter Milan will likely provide stiff competition to Juventus to try and sign the Turk in the summer. However, Juventus opening talks with Celik now will likely put them in the driving seat to sign him.

Dusan Vlahovic looked almost certain to leave Juventus at the start of this season, as contract renewal looked hopeless. Juventus simply couldn’t meet his wage demands so instead they signed replacements. Jonathan David and Lois Openda where bought in who were seen as new starting strikers.

But, both have struggled to hit the ground running for Juventus this campaign struggling to provide goals. Jonathan David will likely stay in Turin as he has been the main starter for Luciano Spalletti. Openda however, will likely leave Turin which could have the Bianconeri back to square one in there replacement search.

Expect for the fact that they may not have to replace Vlahovic at all as he could stay in Turin. This came as Vlahovic suffered an abductor injury for Juventus in November of last season, which saw him miss 21 games. Europe’s big clubs like AC Milan, bayern and Chelsea who did want to sign Vlahovic all lost interest while he wasn’t playing due to injury.

Corriere Dello Sport is now reporting that Juventus will have a fresh set of talks with Vlahovic is they aim to keep him in Turin. However, the deal is not as straightforward as it soons as they two parties still have disagreements. Mainly over salary as Dusan wants 12 million euros per season to stay.

Juventus are hoping to pay Vlahovic closer to a six million euro per season sum. This would put him on par with both Jonathan David and Kenan Yildiz despite him being a favourite of Luciano Spalletti’s. Vlahovic will have to decide soon if he is willing to stay with Juventus a figure nearly half of his asking price or make a move elsewhere, before it is too late.

Marcus Thuram has been one of the biggest names around Inter Milan as he looked set to leave this summer. These rumours began circulating when he missed eight games in January. This allowed Pio Esposito and Ange Yoan Bonny to shine in his place, which led to rumours of him making a move.

This was also met with reported attitude problems out of Thuram during the time. That was the ultimate kicker motivating the move especially with some teams being able to pay top money for Thuram. However, recently his form has improved scoring two goals against Como and scoring one and assisting two the week before that.

His form turn around now has Inter Milan inclined to keep him according to Gazzetta Dello Sport. He is now seen as an integral part of the Nerazzurri plans, and small talks for a contract extension have started. This comes as his deal expires in 2028, so there is plenty of time to spare for a renewal.

Hakan Calhanoglu future however is not so certain as he has been linked to leave Inter as well this summer. There has been talks for a move to Galatasaray which have been motivated mainly by the fact that his contract expires at the end of next season. However, Fabrizio Romano has labelled these rumours completely false on his youtube channel.

Liverpool have already begun their search and have Pulisic mind as an option for this summer. However, they are still have multiple names in mind with Kvicaha Kvaratskhelia being on their list according to reports. Liverpool could face competition if they decide to sign Pulisic this summer as Tottenham.

Tottenham have recently appointed Roberto De Zerbi as a new head coach and he will likely stay there into the summer. They will look to build a new more dynamic attack and Pulisic could be a key name for doing so. Especially if he is put up for sale by AC Milan this summer.

However Massimiliano Allegri considers his “Captain America” close to unsellable for Milan this summer. However, an offer of 60 million euros or more could be enough to do the trick for Milan’s ownership. This a figure that both Premier League sides should be able to match.
