Juventus could decide to sell defenders this summer with replacements ready
Juventus have undergone a midseason revolution under Luciano Spalletti this campaign. However, there is still holes in this team which will need to be fixed in the summer. This has been clear to see over Juventus last five matches where they have conceded 14 goals. Juventus will likely make signings in the defence this summer.
The Bianconeri have also been linked to Marcos Senesi, Zeki Celik and Oscar Mingueza as free agents this summer. If Juventus do manage to sign all of these players, they will be forced to sell. Juventus will have to make room for these players to come into the starting eleven for Juventus next season.
The first player that could leave, Juventus this summer is Federico Gatti. This comes from a report from TuttoSport which castes that AC Milan and Roma are both interested in signing Gatti. AC Milan hoped to sign Gatti in January, but Juventus decided to not sell then. However, they have also been monitoring Mario Gila for this summer.

Meanwhile, AS Roma are looking to replace Evan Ndicka. Reports have stated that Gian Piero Gasperini isn’t a fan of Ndicka, and they could decide to sell him this summer. Federico Gatti could move to Roma and come into the team to replace Evan Ndicka. However, both of these sides will face competition from Premier League sides, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest.
Andrea Cambiaso could be up for sale as well, as according to Defensa Central. Real Madrid could decide to sign Cambiaso as a replacement to current left back Fran Garcia. Cambiaso would come in to Madrid and fight for a starting place with Álvaro Carreras. Meanwhile, Manchester City and Liverpool have both also been interested in Cambiaso.
The story around Inter Milan to be they won this years Scudetto is how they will be able to keep the team strong. They have been linked to many names to get stronger and younger. Nico Paz, Tarik Muharemovic and Marco Palestra have all been linked to the Nerazzurri.
Manu Kone however has been the most serious name that Inter have been linked to ahead of this summer. This comes as AS Roma will be forced to sell players this summer to meet financial fair play terms. This would see Carlos Augusto be returned to Inter. Augusto a has been on Roma and Gian Piero Gasperini radar for a long time. Roma need more versatile defenders to fit Gasperini system which makes him an appealing choice for Roma.However, Roma signing Augusto could be dependent on if Inter decide to sign Manu Kone.
The Nerazzurri have plenty of options could chase Curtis Jones instead. This comes as a TEAMtalk is reporting that Jones would prefer a move to Milan over staying in England. This makes him a real target for Inter as he will be up for sale this summer.
He has fallen out with Liverpool manager Arne Slot over the course of this season. Slot sees Jones as unneeded in his system as he has only played 1839 minutes during this season and could be sold. This would be a perfect market opportunity for Liverpool who want to make sure they can keep up their dominance into next season.

Manchester United are looking for a minor revolution in this summer’s mercato. This comes as they are looking to build a team for new manager Michael Carrick. Carrick was appointed as interim during this campaign but now has officially been given the job for next season.
Ederson was also open to joining United this summer, as the Brazilian actually preferred a move to England. This saw his deal with Atletico Madrid collapses because of United interest. Atleti will go after Joao Gomes from Wolves instead, who has been linked to Napoli in the past.
Nico Schira is reporting that the deal is close to completion, to see Ederson move to United. Ederson already has agreed a contract with United until 2031 worth 5 million euros per season. Atalanta is now closing in on a deal with United worth 45 million euros per season plus an added 5 million in bonuses.
AC Milan had the chance to capitalise on a lack of European football this season to claim there 2oth Scudetto. However, they have fallen short due to a poor second half of this campaign. This left the attacking hole open for Allegri’s men as they had struggled to score all season. Fullkrug would also be the only signing that Milan would make in a poor window. This came in a period were AS Roma managed to pick up Donyell Malen. Malen has been exceptional for Roma scoring 13 goals in the league.
Milan however where close to bringing in a second striker. A deal to sign Jean Philippe Mateta went down to the deadline, as Juventus and Milan competed. Eventually, Milan would get the edge agreeing on a deal with Mateta. However, the deal would fall through as Mateta failed his medical.

It was found that Mateta needed surgery and his season would likely be over. However, he has paid through the injury and has done so impressively. This has lead to Milan being re interested in Mateta for this summer. This comes from a report from Nico Schira as Mateta still wants to leave Palace.
