Inter Milan have Denzel Dumfries back-up ready incase his release clause is activated
Denzel Dumfries future has been one of the biggest talks of Inter Milan season so far. Dumfries spent 16 games sidelined for Inter this season, due to injury. The Nerazzurri saw how important he was as while Luis Henrique played roles none where as good as him.
His future has also been a talking point as he changed agent to Ali Barat during the course of this season. Barat is known for bringing players from Europe into the Premier League, and it looked like he would do the same for Dumfries. These talks where boosted by the fact that Dumfries has a 25 million release clause over his head this summer.
While there is no guarantee that Dumfries could leave Inter, as he enjoys playing and living in Milan. However, Inter need to be prepared in case he does leave the club. Tuttosport are now reporting that Inter are setting their eyes on Marco Palestra as the replacement for Inter.

However, it won’t be that simple for Inter Milan as he will return to Atalanta from loan at Cagliari. Atalanta will already sell Ederson this summer as he has already agreed personal terms with Atletico Madrid. Marco Carnesecchi could also be sold, but Atalanta will likely only sell one name.
This could see them keep Palestra this summer, which would make him unavailable for Inter. There is also the complication of the Premier League as English sides have been interested in signing Palestra. If a bid from the Premier League came in Inter would likely be unable to compete with them.

Alessandro Bastoni has decided where he wants to play next season
Alessandro Bastoni future has been one of the biggest stories since the closing of the January mercato. This season will be Bastoni’s seventh at Inter and it has been surrounded it controversy. It started when Bastoni when down for a clear dive in the Derby D’Italia.
This saw Pierre Kalulu sent off and likely cost Juventus the game. However, that’s not the most important part as it turned the entire country of Italy on Alessandro Bastoni. Bastoni was booed by fans everywhere he went, as it seems he wouldn’t be let off lightly. However, this talk died down once Italy went to play to qualify for the World Cup.
Bastoni was off the hook in the game against Northern Ireland, where Italy win 2-0 off the backs of Moise Kean and Sandro Tonali. However, he only made things worse for himself against Bosnia getting sent off in a game which Italy went on too lose. The nation has gone back to booing Bastoni once again as they see him as one of the reasons the Azzurri won’t play in the World Cup.
All this has helped him make the decision to leave Inter Milan this summer according to Tuttosport. Bastoni has decided that he wants to spend the next part of his career at FC Barcelona. This is despite having no harsh feelings for Barcelona he just needs a change of scenery for now.
Inter Milan and Barcelona will now have to come to a deal to see Bastoni sold this summer. It is reported that Inter will ask for a figure 70 million euros or more to sell Bastoni. However, Barcelona could offer Hector Fort who Inter are a fan of to complete the deal. But, if a deal can not be completed Bastoni is happy to stay on with Inter as he has respected Chivu work so far, and isn’t being pushed out.

Oumar Solet in the middle of defensive carousel in Serie A as three teams are interested
Inter Milan will undergo major changes in defence this summer, as the team looks to rebuild, mainly in defence. The biggest rumours have been Alessandro Bastoni who looks set to sign for FC Barcelona this summer. This is of course dependent on if the two clubs can reach an agreement as Inter want between 70-80 million euros to sell him this summer.
He will not be the only centre back to leave Inter this summer as Francesco Acerbi is also set to leave. According to Fabrizio Romano as Acerbi current contract expires at the end of this season and Inter won’t offer him a new deal. However, Stefan De Virj will stay with Inter under a new short term contract which will be offered to him after this season.

With Inter losing at least two centre backs this summer, they will have to make signings to replace them. Tarik Muharemovic is already rumoured to join Inter in the summer, as he has agreed personal terms with Inter. However, his signing will not be enough for Inter this summer.
This is why they have begun scouting Oumar Solet as he was watched at the San Siro by the Nerazzurri last weekend. This comes from a report from Nico Schira via X broke the news. This shows that Inter have serious interest in signing Solet, and could make a move for Solet soon.
However, Inter will have to be quick if they want to complete a deal. This comes as Juventus and Roma are both also interested in Oumar Solet according to CalcioMercatoIT. Juventus have been in the market for a centre back being linked to a centre back for this summer as they could sign Jhon Lucumi. Roma meanwhile could be forced to sell Evan Ndicka to make finical fair play and could decide to sign Solet as a cheaper replacement.

Juventus considering signing Bologna centre back this summer
Juventus future is finally starting to take shape as this season ends. Luciano Spalletti has been given a contract extension, alojng side Manuel Locatelli. Juventus are also set to open talks with Pierre Kalulu to keep him in Turin, and stop other teams from signing him.
As, Juventus new team is taking shape they will also have to sign players to complete the squad that Spalletti wants. Juventus have already been linked to multiple players, such as Robert Lewandowski or Bernardo Silva. Both of these players wantn join Juventus as free agents this summer.

If Juventus do manage to land free agents this summer, it will allow them more to spend elsewhere. This comes as Luciano Spalletti will likely want to make multiple changes this summer. Gazzetta Dello Sport is reporting that Juventus will decide to sign a centre back first.
Jhon Lucumi is currently the leading centre back for Juventus to sign this summer, as they look to boost their squad. This comes as Lucumi could be up for sale from Bologna this summer, if reports are true. Lucumi’s current deal expires at the end of next season, and Bologna have no intentions of renewing his deal.

Jhon Lucumi of Bologna FC looks on during the Serie A football match between Bologna FC and US Lecce. Bologna FC won 2-0 over US Lecce.
This could see Bologna decide to sell Lucumi this summer if reports are true. Premier League sides are interested in Lucumi, and normally that would be the end for Juventus as they can’t match the wages they offer. However, Lucumi has decided that he would rather stay in Serie A than move to England.
This puts Juventus in pole position if they do decide to try and sign Lucumi this summer. Marcos Senesi had previously been the leading name for Juventus as a free agent, but he looks set to sign for Tottenham. Juventus could now decide to sign Lucumi because they can’t get Senesi but Oumar Solet from Udinese is still an option.
