Two Serie A teams interested in Genoa fullback Brooke Norton-Cuffy
Brooke Norton-Cuffy is slowly having a breakout year at Genoa, slowly leading to interest from other teams. This is especially true as most of the top Serie A teams play a style that needs a player like Norton-Cuffy. AC Milan and Juventus both play in the 3-5-2 which is the same as Genoa.
Both of these teams are also fighting to try and win the title this season. This has lead them looking to build a strongest team possible to edge out Inter Milan and Napoli. This is why Milan are looking to try and sign Norton-Cuffy according to CalcioMercato.
Milan have been good on the wings so far this season with Alexis Saelemaekers being one of their best players. However, his back-up Zachary Athekame has struggled ever since signing for AC Milan this summer. Norton-Cuffy isn’t the only full-back that they are interested in.

They are also interested in signing Marco Palestra this January as a full-back if they can’t get Norton-Cuffy. Palestra is currently playing for Cagliari where he is on loan from Atalanta. Both players have similar skill sets and would cost Milan around 20 million to sign. However, this number could get higher if they receive competition from other Serie A clubs.
Which is likely especially with Juventus also being interested in signing Norton-Cuffy in January. But, Juventus could make it easier for AC Milan if they decide to look elsewhere according to reports from Fabrizio Romano. Juventus are looking into signing Celta Vigo fullback Oscar Mingueza.
However, Juventus could be forced to come back to Norton-Cuffy as there are several teams looking into signing Mingueza. Not just that Celta Vigo are also skeptical to sell Mingueza right now. This is due to Barca still earning 50 percent of a future sale right now in his transfer agreement, this could then lead to Celta Vigo deciding to keep him.

Juventus closing in on signing Oscar Mingueza from Celta Vigo
Juventus started off their transfer window by making a swap move with FC Porto. This was a deal which saw Alberto Costa move to Porto. Costa was wanted by multipule clubs after some excellent performances at the Club World Cup with Juventus. Porto where one of the teams interested and got the deal done.
However, Porto could only complete the deal if it was a swap, so Juventus and Porto opened negotiations. The two clubs did manage to come to an agreement with Juventus over a swap deal. The two teams managed to come to a deal that would see Juventus receive full-back Joao Mario.
Mario came to Turin, full of hope to be a key player for Tudor in his squad instead that didn’t happen. He struggled to get regular minutes for Juventus, and couldn’t find a place in Tudors squad. Especially with the poor form Juventus where in Joao Mario had plenty of opportunities to make way into the squad.

Then Juventus decided to change coaches firing Tudor and replacing him with Luciano Spalletti, formerly of Napoli. Spalletti has turned Juventus around and improving their form. However, Joao hasn’t been apart of that playing only 33 minutes since Spalletti joined Juventus at the start of November.
This has lead to rumours of Joao leaving Juventus in January at the end of this season, or in January. This will mean Juventus will need to sign a right back to replace him, and they already have their eye on someone according to Nico Schira.
Oscar Mingueza is the lead target from Celta Vigo, as he is looking to leave the club. His contract expires at the end of this season and he likely won’t extend with Celta Vigo, this has lead to the rumours of him leaving in January. Juventus are one of the several teams interested in him.
However, so far Juventus have the edge on the competition as they have agreed terms with Mingueza already. This has lead to Juventus looking to complete the deal in January. Now they just need to agree a fee with Celta Vigo to complete the deal which will be around 3-4 million euros.

Napoli could see Goretzka is an alternative to Kobbie Mainoo in the summer. Mainoo like Joshua Zirkzee is now not available to sign due to the coaching change at Manchester United. However, this isn’t a problem that AC Milan have been suffering from this season but they are still interested in Goretzka. An opening could be made for the German midfielder if somebody else where to leave.
Meanwhile rumours have begin to circulate over the possible departure of Youssouf Fofana. He is currently wanted by Turkish side Galatasaray, who have inquired about him multiple times in recent months. However, according to Luca Bianchin, Fofana is currently not interested in a move to Galatasaray.

This has now lead to Roma looking for replacement options, especially with them also missing out Joshua Zirkzee. Zirkzee will now stay at Manchester United due to a coaching game seeing Ruben Amorim fired. This has lead to Roma looking for new targets and according to Fabrizio Romano (Same source as previous) they have found one.
They are looking to sign Donyell Malen from Aston Villa and are getting extremely close to doing so. Roma have been able to agree personal terms with Malen already which will help the deal get complete. Now Roma just need to agree a formula to the deal and how much it will cost them.
