Atalanta are heading to France today as they are set to face Marseille in the Champions League. They are looking to push past their bad form today and finally get a win on the board. While they where “undefeated” until last weekends lost to Udinese they haven’t won a game since the thirty of September.

There last win was one-nil over Club Brugge at home in the Champions League. Since that result they have only managed six draws and one loss. This has left Ivan Juric under some pressure as his poor start with the club, has put him in the hot seat. Seria A teams arent afraid to let a coach go early in the season.

The league has already seen three head coaches fired this season. Juric could very well become the foruth if he fails to turn this team around. He will have to do this by making up some ground in the league sitting 11th and holding on to his strong spot of 19th or improve in the Champions League.

Predicted Starting XI (3-4-1-2) via Sky Sport Italia.

Marco Carnesecchi

Odilon Kossounou, Isak Hien, Berat Djimsiti,

Davide Zappacosta, Ederson, Marten De Roon, Raoul Bellanova

Mario Pasalic

Charles De Ketelaere, Ademola Lookman

Ivan Juric is set to change from the 3-4-2-1 he used at the weekend to a 3-4-1-2 for todays game. This will see the entire front three changed with Gianluca Scamacca, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Lazar Samardzic dropped to the bench. This will see Ademola Lookman and Charles De Ketelaere start once again.

Mario Pasalic will also move forward which allows room for Marten De Roon to come back into midfield. Davide Zappacosta keep his place on the wing. However, his counter part will be Raoul Bellanova instead of Nicola Zalewski from the weekend. The back three will stay unchanged as well.

AS Roma are set to take on Rangers in the Europa League. Both teams are looking to bounce back from poor Europa League, starts with Roma 23rd and Rangers last out of 36 teams. Roma are still the favourites due to there much better league form, but the game won’t be easy.

Playing away to Rangers is never easy, no matter of their form. Roma are also weak in the attack with Paulo Dybala, Leon Bailey and Evan Ferguson all suffering injuries. This will make their already struggling attack face more challanges. This could be critical as Roma need to pick up all three points.

Roma will also be looking to bounce back on the weekends loss to AC Milan. They could’ve gone two points clear at the top with a victory. But this wasn’t to be as Gasperini side struggled to find the back of the net. Hopefully, he can motivate them to play hard and earn all three points today.

Predicted Lineups (3-4-2-1) via One Football

Mile Svilar

Gianluca Mancini, Evan Ndicka, Mario Hermoso

Zeki Celik, Bryan Cristante, Manu Kone, Konstantions Tsimikas

Mattias Soule, Manuel Pellegrini

Artem Dovybk

This lineup will see Roma shift from the 3-5-2 they played against Milan. This is likely because Dovbyk has to replace Dybala, but it will also see Neil El Aynaoui drop to the bench for Manuel Pellegrini. The only other change in the team that Wesley is benched for Tsimikas, likely to give the Brazilian some rest.

Bologna are looking to improve on their sub-par start in the Europa League when they host Norwegian side Brann. Bologna currently sit 19th in the Europa League table with four points. This comes as Bologna has amounted one win, one draw and one loss in their first three games of the competition.

Bologna has been in good form not losing in any of their last eight games. However, on the other hand they have only won four of these games, exactly half. These eight games also include an home draw to Freiburg and an away win to FCSB in Romania. Bologna will hope to keep their winning form after winning against Parma last weekend.

Parma scored in just twenty six seconds against Bologna. But Bologna managed to steady the ship scoring three to take them ahead of Parma. The catalyst for this was Santiago Castro scoring a brace against Parma. Castro will be aiming to do the same but playing against Brann won’t be an easy feat.

Brann currently sit eight in the Europa League table, with two wins and one loss. Brann are aiming to snap their two game losing streak which saw them lose two league games in a row. They see this Bologna game as a way to sheer the ship back on track as the Norwegian league comes to the end of the season.

Inter are hunting to take top spot in the Champions League table so far this season sitting three points off first place Bayern, who have a game in hand. Inter are hopeful that they can guarantee a top eight finish from where they are so far in third. This would allow them two games off in the middle of January one.

These games off could be crucial as they push to reclaim the Scudetto after finishing second last season. This has been helped by the rejuvenation as Christian Chivu has taken over as coach. Chivu has Inter tied for second while only being one point behind first place, Napoli after ten league games.

Chivu could use the chance to rest some of his starters including Latauro Martinez, however this carries risks. Inter tried to do this at the weekend while playing away at Verona. This lead to them going one-nil down in the first half before, making changes. Inter then managed to get two goals back having to wait until the 93rd minute for the winner.

Predicted starting XI (3-5-2) via Sky Sport Italia

Yann Sommer

Carlos Augusto, Stefan De Vrij, Yann Aurel Bisseck

Federico Di Marco, Piotr Zielinski, Nicolo Barella, Davide Frattesi, Denzel Dumfries

Pio Esposito, Lautaro Martinez

This lineup will see two of the back three change with only Yann Aurel Bisseck staying in the side. This will see Alessandro Bastoni had a rest. This comes after he played the full 90 in Internazionale last three games. Carlos Augusto will be moved to the backline as well with De Vrij to complete the back three.

Carlos Augusto moving to the defence will see, Federico Di Marco start on the left. Denzel Dumfries will also make another start replacing Luis Henrique who is still struggling to find his feet in Milan. In the middle Hakan Calhanoglu will be given a rest after scoring two games in a row with Nicolo Barella coming in.

Next to him Petar Sucic will also be given a rest with Davide Frattesi set to return to the starting eleven. Lautaro Martinez will have a new strike partner with Pio Esposito set to start. However, sky add in their comments that Ange-Yoan Bonny and Pio Esposito could be the starting duo.
