Juventus have struggled defensively this month, as fixtures have got more competitive and common. The Bianconeri have already conceded 14 goals this month. This is despite their still being two more games coming up before March. Juventus believe that they know the issue with the teams defence.

Luciano Spalletti and the board, are pinning the blame to Michele Di Gregorio’s name. Di Gregorio was a standout last season, in his first run around with Juventus. Di Gregorio kept nine clean sheets in 32 league games last season, but has struggled this season.

This has lead to the reports of Juventus looking to replace Di Gregorio in the summer. According, to CalcioMercatoIT, they have already begun talks over a swap deal in the summer. This would be Marco Carnesecchi, from Atalanta who has been a standout in Serie A this season.

This has lead to multiple sides, across Europe wanting Carnesecchi, in the summer. So, Juventus will likely have stiff competition if they choose to do so. Juventus, will struggle to afford Carnesecchi especially if they look to bring in other signings in the summer, which has lead to the proposal of a swap deal.

Federico Gatti was offered to Atalanta in the deal, as he looks to be expendable by Juventus this summer. Gatti wasn’t sold in the summer, but Marcos Senesi could arrive in the summer. This would mean that Gatti could leave in the summer, so he was offered to Atalanta with cash.

However, Atalanta turned this down as they have set their sights on a different Juventus player. Atalanta asked for Fabio Miretti, plus cash to complete a deal for Juventus. There where links with Miretti leaving Juventus in the summer, but now they are unlikely to let him go, even for Carnesecchi.

Juventus have been one of the most inconsistent teams this season. There has been extreme highpoints with a 4-3 win over Inter, 3-2 comeback win vs Bodo Glimt and a 3-0 win over Napoli. But, this has come with some low points with a 2-1 loss to Napoli, 3-0 loss to Atalanta and 5-2 loss to Galatasaray.

This has come with player performances being inconsistent, over the course. One of these inconsistent players, has been Michele Di Gregorio, this has lead to rumours of him being replaced. However, Khepren Thuram has been quite the opposite, being like a metronome for Juventus this season.

These top performances, don’t go unnoticed however with top European clubs watching. According to TEAMtalk the main two teams have been Manchester United and Liverpool. Both of these clubs wanted to sign Kenan Yildiz as well, but Juventus managed to agree to a contract extension with him.

This has lead them towards the possible idea of signing Christian Pulisic. Juventus are hopeful to do the same with Khepren Thuram aiming to sign him to a contract extension. Khepren Thuram has no desire to leave Juventus however, and could likely stay in Turin.

Keeping, Thuram will be key for Juventus as they look to get rid of other targets in the summer. Manchester United and Liverpool will likely be forced to look elsewhere for other midfielders to sign, which will be big for Juventus push to turn around their side.

Inter Milan have been one of Europe’s top goal scoring teams this season. This is mainly due to a change in personnel starting with the coach. Cristian Chivu has pushed Inter into a new gear that they failed to find under Simone Inzaghi. But, Inter have also added two new strikers to the mix.

Pio Esposito and Ange Yoan Bonny, have been two great additions to this Nerazzurri side. Inter’s goalscoring has lead to eyes being put on them all across Europe. This has lead to other teams, trying to pry the strikers away from Milan and bring them to there clubs.

This began with Pio Esposito being linked to Arsenal, but this deal is far fetched. It is hard to see Inter giving up Pio Esposito especially, at his age. Which is why they will likely tie him up to a contract extension soon. However, according to Spanish tabloid Sport via CalcioMercatoIT he isn’t the only one.

Marcus Thuram could also leave Inter Milan, with multiple European sides being interested. FC Barcelona are the first team that could try to sign Thuram in the summer. They liked Thuram when he left Gladbach as a free agent, but decided to sign Victor Roque instead.

However, Victor Roque has since be sold by Barcelona as his deal didn’t pan out successfully. Barcelona are also set to lose Robert Lewandowski in the summer which has put them in the market. This has meant they could make a move for Thuram, but they wouldn’t be alone.

Paris Saint Germain and Bayern Munich, will also be in the mix for Thuram this summer. This added competition will make it difficult for any team to sign him. Thuram could go for up to 60 million euros because of this, if he does decided to leave Inter this summer.

AC Milan looked to find their next big striker for the future last summer, when they signed Santiago Gimenez. However, he has flopped for Milan, in the one year since he joined. Gimenez has only scored seven goals, in his entire career in Milan, with only one this season.

This lead the Rossoneri to look to replace him last month. They managed to get a deal done to sign Niclas Fullkrug at the start of the window. But, they also wanted another name to round out the attack for Massimiliano Allegri. This lead to the links for Jean-Philippe Mateta coming to Milan.

The deal was almost complete on deadline day, with only the medical left. However, Mateta failed his medical in London requiring surgery, and missing multiple months. This left AC Milan stranded, with only a few months left in the window which meant they could only sign Fullkrug.

So, now Milan are changing their focus on surviving the rest of this season with Fullkrug, and the rest of the attack. Now, however they will plan towards the summer looking for someone more important. This comes from a report from CalcioMercatoIT, which could leave Milan, making a move for a Dortmund striker.

This would be Sehrou Guirassy, who has been lighting up Europe for Dortmund over the last year. Guirassy has scored 20 goals already this season, to go with his 34 last season. Guirassy was also the UCL top scorer with Dortmund last season, becoming a wanted quantity despite being 29-years-old.

Milan could be one of those teams, that could look to bring in Guirassy in the summer. However, it would be take a large bid to complete for Milan, being in the range of 40-50 million euros. This would be 5-15 million more than Milan aimed to spend on Mateta, who was a year younger.
