Liverpool could sell key winger back to Serie A
Liverpool have been one of Europes strongest teams over the last two seasons. This has collided with the hiring of new manager Arne Slot which came after Jurgen Klopp left the club. Slot’s first window was a big one, as the team didn’t make any huge improvements under Klopp.
This lead to multiple huge signings especially in the attack, but the one that has probably gone unnoticed is Federico Chiesa. This isn’t because Chiesa hasn’t been good, but the overall quality of this Liverpool side. However, some people do think that Chiesa does need more minutes under slot.

The Liverpool board is now stuck in a hard place as Chiesa earns 7.5 million euros per season, which is large for a bench player. According to CalcioMercato Liverpool have decided to sell him in the summer, and they have set a price. Liverpool are asking only 20 million euros to sell Chiesa in the summer.
This could see a move back to Serie A become possible, as Juventus his former club wanted to make a move in January. They did sign Jeremie Boga, but he is seen as more of a stop gap option until the summer. 20 million to sign Chiesa is achievable for Juventus but Chiesa would need a pay cut to complete the move.
Napoli or Roma were linked to signing Chiesa in January but no new deal has been made. This is likely because they both completed permanent deals, with Alisson Santos and Giovane Nascimento join Napoli. Meanwhile, Roma signed Robinio Vaz, Donyell Malen and Bryan Zaragoza which makes Chiesa unnecessary.

AC Milan ready to accept reasonable bids for Rafael Leao this summer
AC Milan suffered another blow in their already slim title chances with their loss against Napoli on the weekend. They are now nine points behind first place Inter, with only seven games to go this season. Milan will see falling short of the Scudetto as a missed opportunity this season, as they only had to play Serie A games.
This was in contrast to Inter Milan and Napoli who had to play Champions League throughout the season. However, Milan couldn’t capitalise on their extra rest, mainly due to their issues in front of goal. Milan have only scored 47 goals this season, 24 less than Inter this season.
Niclas Fullkrug was bought in during January in an attempt to fix the problem, but he has failed to hit the ground running. Milan will now likely go into a full revolution this summer to try and fix their attacking problems, according to Corriere Dello Sera. This could see Rafael Leao amongst the names sold to build a new attack.

AC Milan and Rafael Leao have been in contract renewal talks for a while, however the talks have stalled in recent months. This could be what motivates Milan to decide to sell Rafael Leao instead of his counterpart Christian Pulisic. Milan are now willing to sell Leao in the summer, if a bid in the range of 50 million euros arrives.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that FC Barcelona could decide to make a move to sign Leao this summer. Barcelona have a 30 million buy out clause for loanee Marcus Rashford this summer. However, they aren’t fully satisfied with Rashford and could decide to sign Leao instead now that he is reasonably priced.

Napoli set to keep Alisson Santos in Naples past this season
Napoli have been one of the best teams, in Serie A post January as they used their mercato efficiently. They managed to fill all of the gaps from the first six months of the season, mostly due to injury. This has left them clinging on to Scudetto hopes after winning their last five games.
This turn in form has seen them jump to second and go seven points behind Inter Milan. While the Nerazzurri will likely be able to wrap up the Scudetto from here, Napoli still have an outside chance. But, knowing their chances are slim, Napoli will likely begin to plan for next season.
Napoli, will look for a tune up to push Inter again next season, and aim to win the clubs fifth title. This is especially true in attack, as Romelu Lukaku will likely leave the club, as he hasn’t returned to Naples to recover from injury. Giovanni Manna has now be quoted to say that as a club “We will take our measures”.

This could lead to Lukaku leaving Naples in the summer, which means that Napoli will look to replace him in attack. The obvious name is Rasmus Hojlund who will have his 44 million euro buyout clause triggered this summer. Hojlund has already replaced Lukaku in some sense while the Belgian has been out injured.
They will likely also change the attacking support, around him. A change of system could force this by Conte, or a different manager if Conte leaves to take the Azzurri job. Napoli already began this process this summer by signing Giovane Nascimento and Alisson Santos in the summer.
Giovane was signed on a permanent transfer from Hellas Verona so he is guaranteed to stay past this season. For Alisson Santos it is a different story however, as his deal was a loan to buy. However, a new report from Gianluca Di Marzio, suggest that Napoli will now trigger his buy clause from Sporting CP worth 15 million euros.

Juventus could decide to make a bid for Manchester United midfielder this summer
Juventus have began their preparations for the upcoming mercato, during the back half of this season. This comes as it will be the first under new manager Luciano Spalletti who was appointed during this season. Juventus will look to capitalize this summer, to try and turn around the clubs recent poor fortunes.
Majority of Juventus’s signings this summer, will likely be free agents as they are already in talks with multiple. Marcos Senesi and Bernardo Silva are two talks for already, but it is not the only signings they make. Juventus will also look to sign players in the transfer market.

However, most of this is dependent on if Juventus manage to qualify for the Champions League. They managed to close in on fourth place today with a 2-0 win over Genoa, putting them only one point behind. Manuel Ugarte could be a key target for Juventus if they do manage to qualify for the Champions League.
This comes from a report from CaughtOffside, which states that Ugarte is up for sale. They are reporting that a multitude of clubs are monitoring Ugarte but mainly, Galatasaray, Newcastle United and Aston Villa. However, Juventus are still the most likely to sign Ugarte in the summer.
Marco Ottolini has been personally scouting Ugarte in the hopes of completing a deal to bring him to Turin. This comes as Manchester United could see Ugarte if a bid in the ball park range of 40 million euros, which Juventus should be able to match. However, Ugarte earns currently 4 million euros per season which could make the deal hard for Juventus.
