Premier League giants side prepare large bid for Wesley Franca
One of the best signings that AS Roma managed to make this summer was full back Wesley Franca from Flamengo. The Giallorossi managed to beat, European giants like Bayern Munich and Juventus to the punch. Roma spent 25 million euros to complete the deal, however he has been worth it.
Wesley broke out during the Club World Cup with Flamengo, with hot form in the tournament. This is what lead Roma to signing him, and thankfully that form has carried over. He has been a constant on the right side for Roma this season scoring 3 goals with an assist to go along with it.
This great form hasn’t gone unnoticed by the rest of Europe, as Manchester City are preparing a bid according to Brazilian tabloid, Netfla. City could offer up to 50 million euros this summer, in the hopes to bring Wesley to the Premier League. Pep Guardiola is the one pushing for the move.

Manchester City might fail to win the Premier League for the second season in a row. This is something that has been unimaginable in Guardiola’s era at Manchester City, as he has been the Premier League’s most dominate managers. However, with Arsenal six points clear at the top it is a real possibility.
If City miss out on the title once again, they will likely go to the transfer market to improve their squad. Wesley could be one of their big signings, as Guardiola’s sides have been known to play with wing backs who can defend and attack. This is why they wanted Andrea Cambiaso last January and Wesley this summer.
However, Roma will likely not be willing to sell and won’t have any need. He has been a key player for the Giallorossi, so the possibility of him being sold is low. Especially as Roma, have a contract with Wesley until 2030, putting them under no pressure to sell.

Juventus looking to replace Michele Di Gregorio in a swap deal
It seems that there has been two versions of Juventus this season, a good and the bad. The good revolutionised by Luciano Spalletti, is a strong defensive unit, lead by Gleison Bremer. Meanwhile the attack looks unstoppable when they’re in a good phase, with Kenan Yildiz sparking life into Weston Mckennie and summer signing Jonathan David.
However, there seems to still be a bad version of Juventus, one who struggles to score. The Bianconeri has underperformed their expected goals in their last two games. This has lead to Juventus dropping points to Lazio at home on Sunday, and being knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Atalanta on Thursday. Juventus struggle to score, goals can often lead to defensive lapses as a team, leading to the opposition scoring easy goals.
They are now searching for answers in Turin to solve these problems. Many fans would rush to blame left back Andrea Cambiaso whose form has slumped all season. However, inside Turin they believe that there is a different problem, with goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio being the blame.

Andrea Cambiaso of Juventus FC looks dejected during the Serie A football match between Juventus FC and SS Lazio. The match ended 2-2 tie.
Di Gregorio signed for Juventus two seasons ago, as the club went under a lot of changes to build a team for Thiago Motta. Di Gregorio has had some incredible games for Juventus including his performances against Real Madrid in the Club World Cup and the Champions League. The upper staff at Juventus still don’t fully believe in him which is why they are aiming to replace him in the summer according to CalcioMercatoIT.
Juventus have set their sights on Atalanta, goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi who has been on some great form recently. He kept Juventus out in the cup despite the Bianconeri having 2.81 expected goals. He also had a clean sheet and a penalty save in the league before that when Atalanta visited Como in gameweek 23.

Marco Carnesecchi of Atalanta BC expresses joy at the end of the Coppa Italia football match between Atalanta BC and Juventus FC in Bergamo, Italy,…
Juventus believe that they can get the deal completed as a swap transfer in the summer. However, even if the Bianconeri send Di Gregorio to Atalanta they will likely have to compensate them finically as well to complete the deal. A move for Juventus to sign Marco Carnessechi would become more possible if Atalanta miss the Champions League this season.

Napoli could try and poach Italian winger from Bologna in the summer
Bologna have struggled in the league this season, as the toll of Europa league games is putting a strain on their squad. The Rossoblu haven’t been poor by any metric but in an ultra competitive Serie A, Bologna sit in 10th place with 30 points. This has lead to some struggles around the club possibly extending the contracts of certain players.
Talks with Jhon Lucumi and Remo Feuler are still up in the air. However, Bologna could lose their most important player, Riccardo Orsolini if they don’t agree on a contract fast. Orsolini’s current deal expires at the end of the next season, which could make him a cheap target this summer. CalcioMercatoIT are reporting that their is lookers in Serie A ready to make a move.
Napoli could try and steal Orsolini away from Bologna in the summer, on a cheap deal. Orsolini could go for as little as 20 million euros in the summer if Bologna make a panic sale. Bologna could easily get 30 to 40 million in normal standards however, it all depends on the circumstances in the summer.
There isn’t a huge need for Napoli to sign Orsolini as of now. They signed Giovane Nascimento in January from Hellas Verona, for a deal worth 25 million euros in total. (Read more here) this would lead to a lack of need for Napoli. However, their team has been injured heavily this season so it is unlikely that Conte will gamble once liken this season.
Riccardo Orsolini has been a star player in Serie A this season, scoring seven goals for Bologna this season. He also has an assist to go with it, to show his quality to the world. If Napoli could steal Orsolini away for 20 million euros it would likely be the best deal of the summer.

AC Milan set to plan to make two summer signings
AC Milan were fairly inactive in the January mercato, compared to the amount of players that they were linked to. Multiple sources, said that Milan were aiming to bring in multiple attackers, and hopefully a centre back. However, the only signing that they managed to complete was Niclas Fullkrug, which happened at the beginning of the window.
This is mainly due to Milan missing out of Jean-Philippe Mateta from Crystal Palace. Milan had an agreement with Palace and with Mateta to complete the move at the deadline, but Mateta failed his medical. Milan moved on from the deal and could go elsewhere completely in the summer.
Moise Kean would be the ideal name for Milan this summer according to Tuttosport via MilanNews24. Kean has worked with Massimiliano Allegri before with Juventus, who is now planning how to complete the deal with Igli Tare. Milan sent scouts to watch Kean play against Torino as a sign for intent on the move.

Massimiliano Allegri head coach of Juventus gives instructions to Moise Kean of Juventus during the Serie A match between AS Roma and Juventus at…
AC Milan, haven’t made any offical contacts yet, but are instead preparing a move for Kean. Kean’s current contract has a release clause of 62 million in the summer. But, Milan don’t plan on triggering this hoping to open negotiations to lower the deal with Fiorentina instead. Fiorentina being relegated to Serie B at the end of this season could make a deal cheaper.
However, Milan have open contacts for another summer signing, instead this time it was someone they were linked with ion the summer. This will be Mario Gila from Lazio who AC Milan didn’t manage to sign in January but will come back and try again to complete a deal.
MilanNewsIT are reporting via CorSport that Milan have come to an agreement in principle with Gila. This contract that Gila would sign would be a five year deal from the summer with the Rossoneri. Milan only want to spend 15-18 million euros to complete the deal. However, this could be hard as Real Madrid will collet 50% of any sale this summer.
