Three Serie A teams interested in signing Como centerback
Como has been the biggest climbers in Italian football, in recent history. Como where in Serie C ten years ago, and now are looking to fight for a European place. This is down to a change of owners, with an indonesia duo, taking over lakeside. However, it isn’t that simple for Como.
They also need good recruitment of young players, which they have done very well. This has been seen in Nico Paz, who has been a starlight for Como, who was brought in from Real Madrid. But, Paz wasn’t the only signing that Como made from Madrid as a youngster.

Nico Paz of Como celebrates his goal during the Italy Cup between Fiorentina v Como at Stadio Artemio Franchi on January 27, 2026 in Florence, Italy.
Jacobo Ramon was also signed from Madrid as a center back, and he could also be on his way out of Como. This is according to Calcio Mercato IT which states that three teams are interested in signing Ramon. Firstly there is AC Milan, who are evaluating Ramon as a summer signing.
Milan have been linked to Mario Gila from Lazio as a possible signing, in the summer. However, it is unknown if Lazio is ready to get rid of Gila, which could bring Ramon into play. Ramon is currently evaluated around 20 million euros something that AC Milan could pay.
But, it won’t be easy for Milan as Inter Milan will provide opposition and try to sign Ramon. Inter don’t need a center back of now, but Stefan De Vrij and Matteo Darmian could both leave Inter at the end of this season. Juventus could also try to make a move for Ramon.
This would depend if Juventus are able to sign Marco Senesi as a free agent in the summer. However, Senesi could come in and Juventus could still make a move. For this too happen Federico Gatti would have to leave Juventus, with AC Milan interested in the past. (read more here)
But, for all three of these teams there is one big opponent in the way. This is Real Madrid who have a buy back option on Ramon, which is available for the next three years. Madrid also have a 50% sell on clause, which could convince Como to keep Ramon, at least for one more year.

Saudi Arabian side set to make large bid for Marcus Thuram
Inter Milan have been one of Italy’s and Europe’s best attacks so far this season. So far this season they have scored 65 goals in the league through 29 games. This puts Inter comfortably first in the category compared to the rest of the league. The second closest team, Juventus sits on only 51 goals.
While Lautaro Martinez, clear world class talent has been helpful, there has been other reasons. Pio Esposito and Ange Yoan Bonny have both become key rotational names for Inter throughout this season. The youngsters have given Chivu new possibilities for his attack this season.

Ange-Yoan Bonny and Pio Esposito of FC Internazionale embrace after victory in the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 League Phase MD1 match between AFC…
This has left Inter trying to decide who will lead their attack into next season. Marcus Thuram name has therefore come up in the rumours multiple times as there is no guarantee he stays. He has been linked to other European clubs, including FC Barcelona multiple times this season.
However, their has still been issues with these teams, as affording Thuram is an issue. Inter Milan won’t let him leave for cheap, and it could even take Thuram’s 85 million euros release clause to see him leave Milan this summer. This could be an issue as top European teams would likely not be willing to spend this.
However, TuttoSport are now reporting that there is a different side that would. They are reporting that a side in the Saudi Pro League could decide to make a bid for Thuram. Many of Saudi’s top sides are back by rich owners who would be willing to invest the money to sign Thuram, which a European club wouldn’t. This could be the ket factor in seeing the deal get done if it is to happen this summer.

Arsenal set to turn down any offers from Serie A for defender this summer
Gennaro Gattuso is looking for young talent to build the future of the Azzuri’s squad around. There has been plenty of names which are younger and can come into the team. However, so far only one has been able to do so and hold their spot in the side. Riccardo Calafiori has been the only one able to do so currently.
Calafiori rise to stardom was at his time with Bologna under Thiago Motta. Bologna made a push and managed to qualify for the Champions League in his last season their. His top form saw him in make a move to join Arsenal the summer after, this was despite serious interest from Juventus.

Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori celebrates after the Premier League match between Arsenal and Everton at Emirates Stadium on March 14, 2026 in…
Juventus are now hopeful to make a move to try and sign Calafiori once again. However, this time they aren’t the only Serie A team interested with, Napoli, AC Milan and Inter Milan all keeping track of Calafiori. This has come as he has struggled a little bit for gametime this season.
It has been rare to see Calafiori to play a full ninety minutes for Arsenal this season. He has either been a key option off the bench for Mikel Arteta or started and be bought off before completing the full 90. This is what lead to the rumours of Calafiori moving back to Serie A.
However, according to TEAMtalk a deal for Calafiori to leave Arsenal is now unlikely. Arsenal have blocked any move for Calafiori as they aim to keep him in North London past this season. They also have no reason to sell Calafiori as he is not unhappy with the club.

Three Serie A sides evaluating a move to sign Leon Goretzka as a free agent
Italian football clubs are slowly looking to spend more money on transfers compared to other leagues. Part of this is down to poor TV rights deal, and Stadium Ownership which makes it hard for some clubs to raise capital for signings. This has meant that Italian sides have had to get creative to complete big signings.
An example of this was last summer was when Napoli signed Kevin De Bruyne as a free agent. De Bruyne has been Napolis strongest addition this season, despite suffering injury issues across the season. Napoli have considered making a similar move again to Fabrizio Romano via Youtube.

Kevin De Bruyne of SSC Napoli during the Serie A match between SSC Napoli and Torino FC at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on March 06, 2026 in Naples,…
Leon Goretzka was a name that Napoli discussed heavily, as they could have made a free agent move. However, Napoli have decided against it as they believe that his wage demands are too high. However, this isn’t a struggle for other Serie A clubs as they could make a move.
Inter Milan have now opened up contacts with Leon Goretzka and his agents over a potential move, to Italy his summer. This would be a big splash for Inter, and would likely lead to another midfielder leaving, Right now that name could be Hakan Calhanoglu who’s contract expires after next season.
But, Davide Frattesi could also leave the Nerazzurri this summer. He has struggled for gametime so far this season which is now hurting his Italian national team chances (read more here). But it is no guarantee for Inter as Juventus have also made an offer for Goretzka. However, the deal that Juventus offered was low for what Goretzka is asking, as Inter could have the same issue.
