Mauro Icardi was a staple of Inter Milan in the mid to late 2010s, spending seven seasons at the club. Icardi scored a total of 129 goals for Inter Milan across his 219 games at the club. Ever since he left the club he has played at PSG and now Galatasaray where he faced off against Juventus in the Round of 32 in the Champions League.

However, Icardi’s current deal with Galatasaray is expiring at the end of this season. Icardi could now look for a move outside of Serie A as the signing of Victor Osimhen has seen him become secondary in Turkey. A move back to Italy could be promising for Icardi, if he does decide to leave Galatasaray.

According to CalcioMercatoIT, Juventus could look to sign Icardi this summer. Juventus will likely need to sign a striker in January as all three of Dusan Vlahovic, Lois Openda and Jonathan David could leave. Vlahovic has an expiring contract after this season and his wage demands are too high.

If Juventus do need a striker this could push them to sign Icardi in the summer. Especially considering that Luciano Spalletti will likely be managing Juventus once he signs his contract extension. Spalletti and Icardi have worked together before with Spalletti famously taking the capticany of Inter Milan away from Icardi.

Icardi played under Spalletti for 73 games at Inter, in which he scored 46 goals. This could push Juventus to make a move to sign Icardi as a free agent this summer. However, Icardi’s wage could stand in the way of a deal as he currently earns 11 million euros per season in Turkey. This is more than double what Juventus could realistically pay Icardi.

There has been two versions of Juventus so far this season. Firstly, there is Igor Tudors team from the start of the season which struggled and saw him fired. Then, there is Luciano Spalletti’s team, which has been improved but has holes. Both teams have struggled defensively, but most of the blame hasn’t fallen on the managers but Michele Di Gregorio instead.

This is why Juventus are now looking to replace Di Gregorio in the summer. Marco Carnesecchi from Atalanta was the leading name, however he is now set to sign a contract extension. However, according to CorSport Juventus could still make a move but it would cost them around 40 million euros. This comes as Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in Carnesecchi.

Juventus were also tracking Alisson Becker from Liverpool, who could leave Liverpool this summer. This come as Liverpool have already signed his replacement in Giorgi Mamardashvili. But, according to FootyInsider, Alisson is not for sale as he won’t leave Liverpool this summer. This has left Juventus looking for a third option to come in.

CalcioMercatoIT is reporting that Juventus have found the name they could sign to replace Di Gregorio. This is Alex Meret who could be set leave Napoli this summer. Meret current contract expires at the end of next season, and he has no intention of staying in Naples. Vanja Milinkovic-Savic has been Napoli’s consistent number one.

This has left him to look elsewhere for his future, and Juventus could be a real option for the Italian. The deal is also beneficial for the Bianconeri as Juventus will likely have to undergo multiple signings this summer. Juventus will be looking for cheap options to bring in like Mere to save money where they can.

Juventus have undergone a midseason revolution under Luciano Spalletti this campaign. However, there is still holes in this team which will need to be fixed in the summer. This has been clear to see over Juventus last five matches where they have conceded 14 goals. Juventus will likely make signings in the defence this summer.

The Bianconeri have also been linked to Marcos Senesi, Zeki Celik and Oscar Mingueza as free agents this summer. If Juventus do manage to sign all of these players, they will be forced to sell. Juventus will have to make room for these players to come into the starting eleven for Juventus next season.

The first player that could leave, Juventus this summer is Federico Gatti. This comes from a report from TuttoSport which castes that AC Milan and Roma are both interested in signing Gatti. AC Milan hoped to sign Gatti in January, but Juventus decided to not sell then. However, they have also been monitoring Mario Gila for this summer.

Meanwhile, AS Roma are looking to replace Evan Ndicka. Reports have stated that Gian Piero Gasperini isn’t a fan of Ndicka, and they could decide to sell him this summer. Federico Gatti could move to Roma and come into the team to replace Evan Ndicka. However, both of these sides will face competition from Premier League sides, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest.

Andrea Cambiaso could be up for sale as well, as according to Defensa Central. Real Madrid could decide to sign Cambiaso as a replacement to current left back Fran Garcia. Cambiaso would come in to Madrid and fight for a starting place with Álvaro Carreras. Meanwhile, Manchester City and Liverpool have both also been interested in Cambiaso.

AC Milan have had a huge hole at the top of the pitch ever since Oliver Giroud left the club for a move to the MLS. AC Milan signed Santiago Gimenez to replace Giroud but this hasn’t worked out. Gimenez has had a poor 12 months in Milan, and will likely be sold this summer. Currently he is out injured for Milan as he has been since the end of October.

Niclas Fullkrug was signed on a loan to buy deal in January, however he is more of a stop gap option. At the age of 33 it seems hard to see Fullkrug being a future option for Milan. But, the Rossoneri might keep him after this season as a back-up option he isn’t a starter. This will lead AC Milan to look for a serious name this summer.

Jean-Philippe Mateta was close to joining AC Milan this summer, but he failed his medical. It was found out that Mateta required knee surgery which he is still yet to have, making him an unlikely target for Milan in the summer. However, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, AC Milan have a list of three names that they could sign.

AC Milan’s top name is Serhou Guirassy from Borussia Dortmund. The 30-year-old striker has a 70 million euro release clause for this summer, but Milan won’t want to pay that much for someone his age. Guirassy is a top class player winning the golden boot in the Champions League last season, but 70 is too much, but they could make a move if Guirassy asks to leave Dortmund and they can do it for cheaper.

But, he isn’t the only name that AC Milan is watching, with Matteo Retegui another possible name. Milan could try and convince Retegui to return to Serie A from Saudi Arabia, but he would need a big pay cut. AC Milan are more likely to convince Darwin Nunez to return to Europe from Al Hilal, but Milan aren’t interested. AC Milan would rather sign Nicolas Jackson on a loan to buy from Chelsea, who will be back up for sale next summer.
