AC Milan could be without star winger in Turin
AC Milan had a shock of a loss midweek away to Lazio in the cup 1-0. This coming after AC Milan beat Lazio 1-0 in the league five days before. However, that game was controversial as Lazio could have been awarded a penalty in the dying minutes due to a Stranjha Pavlovic handball.
But, after a lengthy review by VAR it was waived off, in my opinion the right call. Then the game would end with Rafa Leao goal being the 0nly difference between the two sides. Lazio would get their revenge in the cup only needing a Mattia Zaccagni header in the 80th minute to get past a over relaxed Milan.

After Mattia Zaccagni scored, Milan put the footdown and made attacking changes. One of these was to bring on American, Christian Pulisic who had spent the game on the bench. While he gave Milan attacking power, they failed to convert as he has struggled for form since returning from injury.
Now however, Pulisic is set to be sidelined once again as AC Milan travel to Turin to take on Torino on Monday. This is due to a fever which is holding him back reports Gianluca Di Marzio. As it stands, Pulisic won’t be in Milans travelling side but he is fighting to play.
Tomorrow morning he will undergo a medical assessment in Milan to see if he is fit. Then it will be decided if he can play or not, if he can’t Milan will have to elevate someone from their bench. This will likely be Christoper Nkunku who will start on the field, with Santiago Gimenez falling out of favour with Max Allegri.

Napoli and Roma both struggle as they pick up multiple injuries this weekend
Injuries has played a huge role in Serie A this season, as the amount of games teams are playing increase. This mean teams need a higher level of depth to keep up all of the games that they are playing. Teams now need a higher number of players to maintain a competitive side.
Roma got a boost yesterday when midfield Lorenzo Pellegrini, returned to the starting eleven against Torino. This boost helped push Roma to a 2-0 win away from home. (read the match report here) However, even with Roma getting him back they could have lost another two players.

Firstly, these started before kickoff as Zeki Celik was forced to drop out of the matchday squad. According to Sky Sport it was due to him picking up a thigh injury which led to Davyne Rensch moving to the starting eleven. However, it didn’t stop there for Roma as they had a player come off during the game.
Mario Hermoso was forced in the 22nd minute due to a muscle injury after a collision. This lead to Daniele Ghilardi coming in, who caused some problems for Roma, as he wasn’t in sink with Evan Ndicka and Gianluca Mancini. However, Roma weren’t the only team to suffer with injuries as Napoli saw two players go down.
According to Sky Sport, Napoli have also suffered two injuries in their win to Sassuolo. They saw both Amir Rrahmani and Matteo Politano going down with injuries. Both will now undergo further tests to see how bad their injuries are, both will definitely miss tomorrow’s Champion League game.
Both are also at risk of missing a crucial league game for Juventus. Napoli will need all three points if they want to keep themselves in the league race. Trying to do this without Politano or Rrahmani especially since they are already missing Lukaku and Neres due to injury.

AC Milan set to lose Santigao Gimenez for two months and begining to look at replacments
AC Milan have been the biggest climbers in Serie A this season as the club had a big overhaul this summer. This was spearheaded by appointing Massimiliano Allegri to help rebuild the team into Serie A champions. Milan built a side to his need but they failed to sign anyone in one position.
There were rumours for Milan signing multiple strikers such as Dusan Vlahovic but they never made a deal. Milan board decided to not sign any striker prioritising other positions to speed up their rebuild. Allegri and the board of Milan thought they would survive until next summer especially with Santiago Gimenez playing for them.

Now however, things are looking bleak for Milan as they will now be without Gimenez for at least the next two months. This is due to his ankle injury now requiring surgery as he hasn’t been recovering, He has already missed a month and a half, however he is not recovering so Milan decided to pull the plug on surgery.
Milan are now looking for short term options that can come into the side and help boost the side above their competition. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that they are trying to sign Niclas Fullkrug on a six month loan to bring him to the rest of the season, and have begun talks with West Ham.
Milan will look for someone on a dry loan as they try to bring someone big in next season. One of these is Dusan Vlahovic which will be available as a free agent at the end of this season. He could be convinced to come to Milan to reunite with his ex coach Allegri and to stay in Italy and not have to up root his life.

Juventus are set to have key defender back for the Champions League
Juventus this season and last have been underwhelming, as a disappointing squad has failed to make the most of a lot of their games. At the start of last season Juventus started off really well, looking poised to make a title charge. This was until 10 weeks in the wheels fell of their season and the barley qualified for the Champions League.
This led to the firing of Thiago Motta and the appointment of Igor Tudor. Tudor was meant to be a temporary option, however he was given the same treatment as Motta. Started the season well, looking like a strong side but then everything fell apart around about 10 games in.
So it would be wise to look at what changed between how both these managers started and then the games they where fired. There is one large common factor that sticks out straight away, Gleison Bremer. Before both these managers got fired, Bremer suffered an injury which saw him miss a large chunk of time.

Thiago Motta, head coach of Juventus Fc speaks with Gleison Bremer of Juventus Fc during the friendly football match between Juventus Fc and Juventus…
However, their is good news now about Bremer that he is set to return for Juventus in the Champions League against Pafos FC. This is TuttoSport reporting on the matter is correct, which state that Bremer will return 56 days after his surgery. He won’t start against Pafos however.
He will likely come off the bench for the game, with him not being fit enough to start yet. Bench minutes against Bologna, look possible as well to prepare his fitness. Bremer is aiming to start his first game against Roma on the 20th of Decemeber.
